Melanie Brown, better known as former Spice Girl Mel B, is pregnant with Eddie Murphy’s baby, tmz.com reported. Brown, 32, broke the news to staff and shoppers at a west Hollywood boutique that she was four months pregnant. A Le Bra Lingerie spokesman confirmed to The Sun that “Brown came in … (and) she said she suspects twins because they run in Eddie’s family.” The couple have been dating since last spring, and rumors are they will marry next month. Murphy has five children from his first marriage to Nicole Mitchell Murphy that ended this year.
Madonna sought adoption advice from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the London Evening-Standard reported. Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie, whose adoption of a Malawian boy has come under question, could face a criminal investigation by British authorities. Pitt and Jolie advised the 48-year-old pop star to proceed with the adoption in California because American procedures are more flexible about allowing older parents to adopt. Madonna reportedly began the adoption process at the Vista Del Mar agency in Los Angeles this summer, the newspaper reported.
Paul McCartney furiously denied claims by his estranged wife that he attacked her during their stormy four-year marriage. Heather Mills, 38, accused McCartney of being domineering, abusive and frequently drunk or high on drugs, according to court documents obtained by the London Evening-Standard. McCartney’s rep called the allegations in 13 pages of leaked divorce papers “a whole orchestrated PR campaign. … Paul denies this version of events completely.” A spokesperson for Mills’ lawyers said in a statement: “The law firm can confirm that Lady Heather Mills McCartney stands by everything that has been filed at court on her behalf.”
Bobby Brown has completed his delinquent child support payments to the mother of two of his children. The Norfolk, Mass., Probate and Family Court office told TMZ.com Brown paid $11,000 last week to Kim Ward, mother of the singer’s teenage daughter La Princia and son Bobby Jr. Meanwhile, Brown’s estranged wife, Whitney Houston, filed for divorce Monday in Orange County, Calif. Houston filed for a legal separation in the state six weeks ago.
Mary-Kate Olsen must have a nose for money when it comes to picking boyfriends. Star magazine reports Olsen, 20, has hooked up with Texas oil heir Maxwell Snow, who also happens to be Uma Thurman’s nephew. Olsen recently split with Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos. Snow is the son of Thurman’s half-sister Taya.
Nicky Hilton ended her two-year relationship with “Entourage” co-star Kevin Connolly Monday night, Life & Style magazine’s website reported. A source told the tabloid she witnessed Hilton screaming at Connolly on her cellphone. “(Hilton) screamed into her phone, cursed, and said, ‘I hate you!”‘ Allegedly Connolly has been spotted out with 18-year-old Brittany Field, daughter of music producer Ted Field.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, apparently could give Jessica Simpson a run for her money when it comes to bloopers and malapropisms. Harry affectionately calls Davy “Dubya.” Harry keeps a poster of some of George W. Bush’s gaffes on his wall to remind him of her, the Sun reported. Davy’s brother Shaun told the paper, “Last month she said, ‘Shaun, are woolly mammoths extinct?’ I said, ‘You can’t be serious.”‘ At least she didn’t ask if “Chicken of the Sea” had chicken in it.
