Why are you running: I believe in and have dedicated my life to public service.
Top three challenges facing the state: 1. Water conservation and storage capacity in Colorado need to be increased to meet the needs of our growing population. 2. Illegal immigration is the number one complaint I hear in my district. 3. Health care costs are spiraling out of control.
Top priority if I should win: Protecting our quality of life, which includes clean and adequate water, protecting our environment, affordable health care, safe communities and education funding.
What proposal in the last session did I oppose the most: I objected to the legislature forcing the governor to call a special session to deal with illegal immigration.
