Why are you running? Lack of leadership skills by current office holder in regards to health care, promoting renewables and protecting Western Slope water.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
1. Providing an environment that promotes renewable energy;
2. making health care affordable and accessible to small business;
3. ensuring Western Slope water is used wisely and not diverted to Front Range municipalities protecting basins of Oregon.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Crafting or co-sponsoring landmark legislation promoting renewable energy. Offering tax incentives for families and small businesses tat produce their own power and sell it back to the grid. Building a coalition of oil and gas companies who want to take the first step in helping make Colorado independent when it comes to energy producers, by utilizing all of our natural resources, i.e. wind, solar, hydroelectric.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? HB 1023 Unfunded voter mandates complicate matters for local municipalities. The other issue defining term pregnancy which died in committee.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? SB 44, providing health care to Colorado residents who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
