Why are you running? My family has served Southern Colorado for four generations. I am committed to its success and future and believe a change in leadership is needed for its future prosperity.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

Economic development in an ever changing and global economy.

Protection of our water and natural resources.

Education of our children.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? The global economic world is getting smaller, and one of my top priorities is to create an environment that will attract high paying jobs for southern Colorado.

What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? The large number of bills that were introduced that sought to unnecessarily increase regulation of businesses. Examples are HB06-1077 and HB06-1148.

What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? HB06-1041. It is important that the costs as well as the benefits of proposed regulation are understood and made available to the public before they are adopted.
