Why are you running? I do not agree with the direction our country is being taken and I want to be a voice for the many whose voices are not being heard.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent: Adequate funding for K-12 and institutions of higher education.
Attracting new industry and jobs to Colorado, particularly in the field of renewable energy.
Access to quality, affordable healthcare and preventative medicine for Coloradans.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Supporting legislation that would give Coloradans access to quality, affordable healthcare.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? HB 06-1144, sponsored by my opponent, which would have limited the penalties of liquor establishments who are caught selling alcohol to minors.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with most? SB -06-01, reducing the cost of prescription drugs. It was vetoed but it should be passed again and signed into law.
