One juvenile is dead and another is in jail after a shooting Wednesday evening in west Denver.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson police were called to the 4900 block of West Hurst Place, southeast of West Sixth Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, around 7 p.m.
“All I can say right now is there were two juveniles with a gun. One of them is dead and we have arrested the other for questioning,” Jackson said.
He declined to identify the dead person. He said investigators weren’t sure if the shooting was the result of a fight or an accident.
