Why are you running? I want to be a voice for the people in my area who have been my friends and neighbors for most of my life.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
1. Budgets – We need to find some permanent solutions for the budget crunches that we have all seen and heard about so prominently in the past few years.
2. Water – Water is an essential part of life and we need to make sure that we have enough to sustain our populations by coming up with storage and conservation plans.
3. Immigration – The legislature started on a process that we need to make sure is enforced, or refined to ensure the spirit in which it was intended.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? My top priority is making sure that the projects that the people in my district feel are important are taken care of.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? The smoking ban; I am not sure the legislature should tell citizens where they can participate in a legal activity or that the casino loophole is justified.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? Left blank.
