Why are you running? I believe that we are facing challenges that need to be addressed by someone dedicated to “duty, honor, country,” not to profit.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
Our public schools are failing because of state funding deficiencies.
We have a health care crisis caused by too many uninsured.
Our declining income growth is stifling the economy.
What is your top priority in the next session, if you should win? I wish to fully fund public education, provide affordable health care to all, and implement a living wage.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? Attempts at requiring all teachers in the public schools to determine the citizenship of their students.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? Senate Bill 198, which prohibited health insurance companies from violating contracts on a whim. The bill passed only to be vetoed by the Governor.
