Why are you running? For 30 plus years in Lakewood and nearly six years in state House, I’ve worked hard for safe healthy communities. Must continue the work in the state Senate.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

Accessible and affordable health care, especially for children.

Maintain strong economy with good jobs.

Sustain first class education system, preschool through higher education.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Creation of a Colorado Family Care System to streamline Medicaid, so all children have a medical home and use the emergency room less often.

What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? Eliminating doctor-patient confidentiality and limiting a doctor’s ability to practice medicine and do what is in the best interest of their patient.

What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? Multi-state purchasing pool to reduce the cost of prescription drugs.
