Angus Mohr with Canned Haggis

The D Note, 7519 Grandview Ave.,

Olde Town Arvada

303-823-9570

The spirits will loom large – and loud – at The D Note’s combination Halloween, Samhain and Angus Mohr CD release party on Friday. Expect to hear “Highland rock and roll” with bagpipes and electric guitars, as the kilt-clad quartet plays “Ring of Fire,” reels and Hendrix. On All Hallow’s Eve, do as the Irish do and sprinkle your animals with holy water to keep them safe from wandering spirits. Tickets are $10 at the door or at angusmohr.com.
