Why are you running? For the past eight years I have worked to monitor spending and the budget. As a Senator I can demand accountability.

What are the top three issues facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

1. Illegal invasion – law enforcement

2. Water management – storage increase and environment concern.

3. Spending – controlling excessive spending.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? To ensure fiscal accountability to the taxpayer, to strengthen existing laws dealing with illegal aliens and to hold accountable those here illegally and those knowingly employing illegal aliens.

What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? The most egregious was the bill attempting to change the statute of limitations for some entities while leaving it the same for others. Extend for the Catholic Church, leave the same for public schools.

What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? There were several proposals to establish a “rainy day” fund and fund it with those dollars collected over and above the Referendum C estimated amounts. I support the establishment of a “rainy day fund.”
