Why are you running? I am running to keep Colorado moving in the right direction and to continue to invest the voter-approved Referendum C monies as the voters intended.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

1. Building more rapid transit/FasTracks highway solutions to our traffic congestion.

2. Providing affordable health care for the rapidly increasing underinsured population.

3. Increased funding for higher education and keeping higher education opportunities affordable for our young people.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Continue the wise investment of Referendum C dollars as approved by the voters; sustain affordable higher education opportunities and help reduce health care costs to businesses and individuals.

Which proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? The never-ending stream of requests to target general fund monies for specific causes, resulting in less flexibility for the budget.

Which proposal in the last session did you agree with most? The final Referendum C proposal that we crafted for voter approval and the subsequent investment of those dollars in our state.
