How long have you lived in Colorado? Where did you live before? I have lived in Colorado more than 10 years. I am a native of Montana and lived in California and Japan while in the Marines.

Why are you running? I am running because I want to help to strengthen Colorado in education, health and welfare, agriculture and industry. And, I want our people to be safe.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
1. education, including funding, the loss of capable professors and teachers, test results and competing against other states
2. in agriculture, the loss of family farms and encroaching development
3. in the environment, resource management, especially of water.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Education.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? The Colorado Commission on Higher Education’s proposal to increase college entrance requirements. If eventually accepted, they would cut off access for students from small districts, whose schools could not offer the classes to meet the requirements.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? The proposal I agreed with most was Referendum C.
