Getting your player ready...

What began with a simple headband to hold a flashlight has evolved into a mission to eliminate the hassles of everyday life for Boulder’s Nite Ize. The company, founded 17 years ago by CU alum Rick Case, offers dozens of products, from fiber optic adapters for mini flashlights and super cool illuminated Flashflight discs ($22) for nighttime fling sessions to myriad holsters and cases for every type of hand-held gadgetry. The latest gizmo from Nite Ize is a rope tightening tool called the Figure 9. The simple tools come in two sizes ($2-$5) and are designed to dismiss those trucker hitches taught on the first day of Boy Scouts. For folks who struggle to keep the tarp taut and the rooftop gear on the roof, the Figure 9 could be your answer.
