The Denver Post will correct all errors occurring in its news columns. If you find a problem with a story – an error of fact or a point requiring clarification – please call the city desk, 303-954-1201.

Stories on Page 1A on Oct. 18 and on Page 1B on Oct. 19 incompletely described a 2004 Colorado Supreme Court ruling regarding the use of local tax money for private education. The Supreme Court ruling held that the Colorado Opportunity Contract Pilot Program, a voucher program, was unconstitutional because it violated “the long- standing constitutional requirement that local school districts maintain control over locally-raised funds,” by requiring school districts to send locally raised money to private schools if eligible low-income students chose them.

Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1A on Wednesday said Denver and Adams counties use paperless electronic voting machines made by Sequoia. It should have said those machines are used in Denver and Arapahoe counties. The information in the graphic was correct.
