The Colorado Division of Wildlife is seeking information about an incident in which three pronghorn carcasses were dumped on Manila Road, near Watkins, on Oct. 8. Persons who might have noted suspicious activity are encouraged to contact officer Joe Padia at 303-947-1798.
Environmental workshop
Teachers in grades K-8 in eastern Colorado and western Kansas may attend a Project Learning Tree workshop sponsored by the Colorado Division of Wildlife on Nov. 4 at Bonny Lake State Park north of Burlington. The 8 a.m.-5 p.m. session costs $35 and qualifies participants for a half-credit of study.
