There’s more to Westminster than meets the eye, especially when zipping along U.S. 36 at 65 miles per hour. A quick glance in every direction confirms there are hundreds of retail stores located in and around the Westminster Mall and plenty of restaurants and entertainment venues at the Westminster Promenade. The new Orchard Town Center in far northeast Westminster will add another 215 acres of retail, restaurants, theaters and housing. Economic opportunity – with less stress and more green space – is partly why Money magazine recently named the city one of the best places to live in America. Westminster has a rich history dating to the mid-1800s.
Getting around: Westminster is about halfway between Denver and Boulder on U.S. 36. The city is easily accessible from exits at Federal and Sheridan boulevards and 104th Avenue.
