Why are you running? I am running so that the voters of Denver can vote for a Peace candidate. I promise to stop funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent? End the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan; Change our patterns of energy consumption because of global warming; Establish a single payer national health plan.
What steps, if any, do you think the federal government needs to take to address the problem of illegal immigration? HR 4437 has been passed to the Senate and put on hold till after the election. It should not be passed into law. I support full legalization for all undocumented workers and a speedy path to citizenship for those people working and paying taxes.
Do you support the continued involvement of American troops in Iraq? I believe the troops should immediately cease all hostile actions, and they should be quickly withdrawn.
