Civic Involvement: Elected to Highlands Ranch Metro Districts Boards three times and served six years. Elected to the New Consolidated Highlands Ranch District Board. Involved with youth sports for 11 years.

Why are you running? To make sure that Highlands Ranch is represented in the next Legislative session.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado?
1. Stop deterioration of higher education.
2. Find ways to provide health insurance to all citizens of Colorado, and get health care and drug costs under control.
3. Keep taxes in line.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? Health insurance pooling will help the over 770,000 uninsured Coloradans with their health care costs. At least 1/3 of those are children. The uninsured place a tremendous burden on the health care system and on tax payers.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? House Bill 06-1082 would have required school district board of education k-12 students provide citizenship date of registration. This would have been a terrible burden on school districts and teachers, principals.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with most? Getting mortgage brokers regulated. There are many bad lenders that prey on the uninformed.
