What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

1. Affordable education for Colorado residents.

2. Tenure policies and structure.

3. Public image of the University of Colorado.

What would you do to improve diversity at CU campuses by drawing in underrepresented students? We need to support underrepresented youth and help them see the value in obtaining a college degree by connecting enrichment programs as a pathway to college. We must also seek to keep tuition affordable.

University of Colorado President Hank Brown has given the university a C-plus for openness and accountability to the public. What would you do to improve CU’s image and restore public trust? We need to evaluate how CU does business at every level and create new guidelines where needed that insure accountability. This may mean regular internal audits that get public review.
