Why are you running? I believe we can do a better job making growth work for us, in education and creation of jobs.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
1. Education – we need to graduate more high school seniors and get more kids through college.
2. Economy – we need to do more to attract better/more jobs to Colorado.
3. Water – we need to find waysto help/provide water for all users/farmers.
What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? My top priority would be improving our education system in Colorado. Improving graduation rates, decreasing class sizes and providing higher education to more families.
What proposal in the last session did you oppose most? Some of the legislation on eminent domain/property rights. HB1411 that passed, I believe, is too watered down.
What proposal in the last session did you agree with most? Many of the immigration bills that punished employers and made employers prove citizenship of employees.
