Why are you running? I am running because I feel passionately about the issues important to Colorado Senate District 5 including education, health care and our land and water.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado?

We need to ensure equitable access to quality education for all Coloradans. Smart growth management concepts need to be implemented in Colorado. Health insurance and health care need to be affordable and accessible.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? My top priority is to identify economic development and educational opportunities for Senate District 5 and protect the region’s natural resources especially our water and land.

What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? I believe the water quality bill sponsored by Representative McFadyen and Senator Gordon was a promising piece of legislation.
