Major endorsements: Running unopposed.
Why are you running? I believe that a RTD member should serve the entire region but also remain a strong voice for his district. I will be that voice.
What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?
1. Staying within the FasTracks budget.
2. Meeting the time frames.
3. Delivering the expectations that the voters voted for.
What do you see your role will be in completing RTD’s $4.7 billion FasTracks transit expansion on time and within budget? As an RTD Director, I will monitor what the voters approved and I will work towards getting every federal dollar to help insure that promise is met.
What other goals do you have for RTD? We must not only look at the current metropolitan Denver boundaries but must have the vision, to look and see the present and future needs of the entire Front Range. My goal is to meet the transportation needs of metropolitan Denver and develop a mass transportation system that is truly user friendly for the entire Front Range.
