Denver police have issued an alert for two missing children who haven’t been seen since leaving school Wednesday.
They are Hector Gonzales, 11; and his cousin Luis Cuevas, 16. They were last seen leaving Cowell Elementary School at 4540 W. 10th Avenue.
Police believe the two boys may be with a 35-year-old man, Edson Alonso, whose relationship to the boys wasn’t explained. Alonso may be driving a silver 2005 Ford Explorer with a Colorado license plate 177-LYU.
Anyone with information about the boys is asked to call the Missing Persons Bureau at (720) 913-6911. They can also contact Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867. Callers will remain anonymous.
