Kate Bosworth canceled an interview when she discovered she would be quizzed about her weight, an Australian newspaper accused. The actress was scheduled to talk to a reporter for the Sun-Herald in Sydney while attending the Melbourne Cup horse- racing event. But editors claim Bosworth’s reps insisted Bosworth not be asked about her weight. Recent pictures of the “Superman Returns” co-star looking thin and gaunt prompted speculation she may have an eating disorder. Her reps have denied the allegations.

Cindy Margolis has been Internet users’ most downloaded person for years. Now the pinup queen of the World Wide Web has agreed to pose nude in the December issue of Playboy. Margolis, 41, started her posing with her own line of greeting cards while a student at Cal State-Northridge. Margolis had a purpose to pose in the men’s magazine. A celebrity spokeswoman for Resolve, the national infertility association, Margolis told the Associated Press money she received for the Playboy shoot will go to the charity. “I struggled for many years trying to have children,” said Margolis, who has three children. “My beautiful son was born through in vitro fertilization. I had my beautiful twins via a surrogate. So I wanted to give back. That is very important to me, to make fertility mainstream so everyone understands it.”

Christina Aguilera says she is hanging up her famous chaps – because she’s too fat. In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the singer said being married has ruined her figure and the sexy chaps from her “Dirrty” music video will remain in her closet. “Putting on those chaps was the bravest thing I’ve done in my career,” Aguilera said. “I love the fact that I did that and did it when I was young and able to wear them. I don’t know if I could put those suckers on now.” Aguilera, 35, married music executive Jordan Bratman a year ago.
