DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES’ AGENCY FOR HEALTHCARE RESEARCH AND QUALITY: Awarded part of a $5 million grant to Dr. John Messenger, an associate professor of cardiology at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center’s School of Medicine. The money will be used by his team to improve emergency treatment of heart conditions in Colorado’s rural areas.
