GOT CALORIES TO SPARE?
Turkey bowling
Fat City, 9670 W. Coal Mine Ave., Littleton
303-972-4344
As if being stuffed, roasted and devoured isn’t bad enough, Fat City aims to line turkeys up and knock ’em down. Not real turkeys (we called to check) … specially marked “turkey pins” win prizes. Burn off those extra calories Thanksgiving night with laser tag, roller skating or miniature golf. From 5 to 10 p.m., a four-hour pass for all attractions, including one game of bowling and shoes, is $10.
ALL THAT GLITTERS
Terriely Jewelry
terriely.com
She may work and live in Manhattan, but Terrie Ly fell in love with jewelry making her freshman year at Denver West High School. We love the delicate curves of her Claire earrings in 14-carat gold with pink tourmalines ($268) and the intricate Mini Daisy Flower Earrings in 22-carat gold with black diamonds ($368), made using ancient goldsmithing techniques. She draws her inspiration from Greek and Mayan pieces on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art … and the flowers and leaves she finds on frequent trips home.
