IN THE POCKET
It’s great to be able to listen to music during a workout at the gym, but the challenge is where to stash your iPod. Everlast solves the problem with its new Groove pant featuring a zip pocket in the back. The pants are made of a polyester-Lycra fabric that wicks moisture as you work up a sweat. It’s $36 at everlastwomens.com
WORK IT OFF
The average American consumes 3,000 calories on Thanksgiving and is regretting that second piece of pumpkin pie by Friday. So if it would make you feel better to exercise than fight the crowds at the shopping center, work off Thursday’s feast by visiting any of the seven Metro area Bally Total Fitness locations for a free day of classes and information at the annual Feeling Fat Friday open house. Visitors can use fitness equipment, take group exercise classes and talk with personal trainers and nutrition experts. Fitness assessments and Real Age testing will also be available. Visit ballyfitness.com and click on the club locator.
