After the 45-minute service and a 15-minute, $190,000 fireworks display at the Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy near Rome, a three-course wedding breakfast was served. Waiters served a parma ham, buffalo mozzarella and vine tomato platter, then an Italian beef dish, according to the London Evening-Standard. The couple’s five-tiered wedding cake was made of white chocolate, decorated with marzipan roses. The 150 guests – who included Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, John Travolta and Kelly Preston, and Brooke Shields – were given $9,500 Armani goodie bags as they left.
Gordon Ramsay opened his first restaurant in the U.S. Thursday night in New York City. Gordon Ramsay at The London, with a French-influenced menu, is located inside the London NYC Hotel in midtown Manhattan. Diners have booked the place solid for two months, the Associated Press reported. The British chef, best known for his TV shows such as “Hell’s Kitchen,” “The F Word” and “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares,” runs 10 restaurants worldwide.
