RIDE YOUR BIKE, GIVE YOUR BIKE A RIDE

Thanks to the new RTD light rail expansion, folks who traverse the Interstate 25 corridor now have expanded opportunities for biking to work or getting to the trails along Cherry Creek. Passengers have first dibs on the trains, but clean, nonmotorized bikes are welcome – if riders have a permit. Get one by taking a quick (and really easy) quiz at rtd-denver.com. You get a temp permit right away, and a permanent pass comes in the mail. | For more health and fitness calendar listings, visit denverpost.com

A BETTER PUSH-UP?

Push-ups – the standard strength builder for sports teams, the military and ordinary exercisers – are great for toning your arms and chest but not so great for your wrists, elbows and shoulders. The Perfect Pushup aims to fix that. The two handles rotate as you lift your body, mimicking the natural movement of your limbs and taking the pressure off key joints. Sets sell for $39.95 and come with a poster outlining a 21-day workout plan. perfectpushup.com
