Denver’s former marketing manager will take over as director of marketing and sponsorship for the Cherry Creek mall next week.
Angela Baier, who served as director of marketing for the city and county of Denver, will replace Lisa Herzlich, who is leaving the position after 14 years to head up Phil Anschutz’s L.A. Live entertainment district.
Baier starts her new position Dec. 6.
Most recently, she was executive director of the Thompson Park Conservancy in New York.
Before that, she led the Mile High region’s first collaborative branding initiative after Mayor John Hickenlooper appointed her director of marketing for the city and county. She also spent 10 years as vice president, marketing and public relations for the Denver Zoo.
Baier be responsible for marketing, public relations, special events and sponsorships at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
