An employee at Denver International Airport slipped on ice and was run over by a plane Sunday, landing him in the hospital.
According to officials at DIA, a Frontier Airlines ramp agent was putting the wedges around the wheels of a plane to stop it at the gate.
The employee slipped on ice and the nose gear of the aircraft rolled over his leg, officials say.
Officials at DIA say the employee suffered a severe leg injury and was taken to the hospital, with assistance from paramedics at DIA.
The incident occurred at gate A39.
The name and condition of the victim was not immediately released.
