Holiday concert

The orchestra, founded and directed by Spidel, includes 75 players from around the country. Instruments range from the piccolo to the bass flute to the seldom-heard contra bass flute.

Make holiday decorations to attract wildlife to your yard and help decorate the Nature Center. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Ride the train
Preseason specials on the Ski Train | Four-trip packages, discounted gift certificates and Winter Park lift-ticket packages available through Dec. 22. The four-trip cost is $159, a $37 savings over individual tickets. The train begins its 67th season with holiday trips Dec. 27- 30. Coach fares are $49 or $44 for youths 13 and under or those 62 and older; club car is $74 (includes continental breakfast and afternoon snacks); groups of 12 or more are $44 per person. The train departs Union Station at 7:15 a.m. and leaves Winter Park Resort at 4:15 p.m. The trip is about two hours each way.
