With fantasy playoffs underway, there will be less activity on waiver wires as teams are eliminated. Use this to your advantage by picking up young players who show potential. NFL owners who are out of the hunt want to know if they can perform in games, and will give them chances.
One is Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler, who appears to be one of Jay Cutler’s preferred weapons, while an option at wide receiver is the Panthers’ Drew Carter. While in his third season, Carter has had little in-game experience, and, as Carolina falls out of contention, could see more action.
Other options are Dolphins RB Sammy Morris and WR Marty Booker. Miami played well late last season after a poor start and appears to be on course for a repeat this year.
