Sales at Colorado restaurants are expected to gain 6.4 percent to $8.04 billion in 2007, according to data released Tuesday by the National Restaurant Association.
The state is expected to rank sixth, tied with South Carolina, for the rate of growth of restaurant sales.
Pete Meersman, president of the Colorado Restaurant Association, said the forecast accounts for inflation but does not include price increases that many restaurant owners have said they will implement as a result of the pending minimum wage increase.
