Frontier Airlines will start flying from Denver to Vancouver, the airline announced today. It will be Frontier’s second route to Canada. Frontier started flying Denver to Calgary in May.
Frontier will operate the daily Denver-Vancouver flight on its 132-seat Airbus A319 planes starting May 5, 2007.
The flight schedule for the summer will take advantage of Vancouver’s role as the largest port for Alaskan cruises. The carrier also hopes to connect Canadian passengers to its routes to Mexico.
Frontier said its introductory fares will start at $109 one-way with roudntrip purchase, with limitations.
Frontier has been expanding its international route network to Mexico and to Canada.
