Accused cop-killer Marco Lee appeared in court this afternoon to learn that he would be formally charged Jan. 4 in the shooting death of Colorado Springs Police officer Ken Jordan.
Lee, who had bandages on both arms, is being held in El Paso County Jail on a suspicion of first-degree murder.
Lee was pulled over Dec. 4 on suspicion of drunken driving. When Jordan, 32, the third officer to arrive in the 4400 block of East Fountain Boulevard, approached the car, Lee shot him four times, police say.
A gag order prevents attorneys from discussing the case.
