Mike Jones, the gay prostitute who brought down a powerful evangelical minister in Colorado Springs by exposing their sexual affair, has landed a book deal.
The book is scheduled to be published by Seven Stories Press next June. No details of the contract were released.
Jones will write the book with Sam Gallegos, a Denver-based free-lance writer.
Jones last month said he had had a three-year affair with Ted Haggard, founder of the 14,000 member New Life Church and president of the National Association of Evangelicals.
When confronted with the accusations, Haggard admitted to unspecified sexual indiscretions and to buying methamphetamine, which he said he never used and threw away. He resigned from the national presidency and was removed from his church by its elders.
