Sacha Baron Cohen – better known as the annoying star of this year’s comedy hit “Borat” – is picky when it comes to Hanukkah dinner. Cohen, also known as the TV character Ali G, once was invited to a Jewish holiday meal, janet charltons hollywood.com reports. The day before the dinner, Cohen interrogated the host about the food. The actor needed to be assured the food would be absolutely kosher. He asked many questions including what kind of plates the food would be served on. The host admitted a few of the dishes were not strictly kosher. Cohen thanked him and decided to eat elsewhere.

Sylvester Stallone says a lunch on the set of the 1974 film “The Lords of Flatbush” may have led to his feud with Richard Gere. Stallone told AintItCoolNews.com Gere was supposed to get the role played by Perry King. One day, Stallone sat down in a Toyota to eat lunch. “I was eating a hot dog and he climbs in with a half a chicken.” Stallone claims Gere deliberately got chicken grease all over his thigh. “I elbowed him in the side of the head,” said Stallone, who noted the tension between them became such a problem Gere got dropped from the film. “To this day (Gere) seriously dislikes me. He even thinks I’m the individual responsible for the gerbil rumor. Not true.”

You want expensive, New York’s got it. This time the Big Apple is boasting the priciest steak. Nello on Madison Avenue is serving 14-ounce Kobe Wagyu steaks from Japan for $750, or $53.57 an ounce. Want white truffles? That’s another $300. Semi-celebrities Lisa Gastineau and Ivana Trump enjoyed the steaks. Gastineau, who starred in the cable reality series “Gastineau Girls” with her daughter Brittny, was asked by the New York Post if the steaks were better than sex. “I don’t know about that,” she laughed, “but it’s worth breaking my diet for.”
