DENVER – Denver-based Chipotle Mexican Grill said Wednesday that it will begin using sour cream that’s free of the growth hormone rBGH in all of its restaurants. The company said the change is a part of its “food with integrity” mission, which focuses on natural and sustainable ingredients.
The company has served naturally raised pork since 2002, and 60 percent of the chicken it serves is naturally raised. The company also says 25 percent of the beans it buys are organic.
