Rap megastar Eminem and his high school sweetheart divorced for a second time Tuesday, less than a year after they remarried. Eminem and Kim Mathers, above left, agreed to divide property under terms of a private settlement and to share custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Scott. They told a judge in Mount Clemens, Mich., that they understood the divorce was final. The couple “conducted themselves with dignity and respect,” Circuit Judge Antonio P. Viviano said. “All in all, they are a very fine couple to deal with.” Eminem, 34, declined to comment after the brief hearing as two men whisked him into a black Cadillac Escalade. Mathers, 31, did not speak to reporters. Eminem and Mathers remarried Jan. 14. He filed for divorce April 5. They first married in 1999 in a secret ceremony in Missouri, and divorced in 2001.

A recent phone call between Britney Spears and her ex, Kevin Federline, turned ugly, reports In Touch Weekly, when Spears asked her soon-to-be-ex-hubby if he’d seen pics of her smooching with his pal J.R. Lara Flynn Boyle, known for her superskinny figure, has gotten married in Texas. The 36-year-old actress recently married Donald Ray Thomas in San Antonio, publicist Karynne Tencer said Wednesday. No details were released. Boyle received an Emmy nomination in 1999 for her role as assistant district attorney Helen Gamble on “The Practice.”

A judge in London awarded a 40 percent share in the copyright of “A Whiter Shade of Pale,” one of the most famous pop songs of all time, to a former organist for Procol Harum. Lead singer Gary Brooker and lyricist Keith Reid always claimed credit for the hit, which became part of the soundtrack for the “summer of love” of 1967. George Clinton is seeking the public’s help in nabbing the thief who stole a video camera and other valuables during a music video shoot. Footage of “Bounce 2 This” is contained in the camera that was stolen more than a week ago, said publicist Karen Sundell. The theft was recorded by a surveillance camera on the Los Angeles-area set, she said. Clinton, 65, didn’t immediately report the theft because he was shooting scenes for an upcoming horror movie, Sundell said. The thief apparently blended in with other people at the video shoot, publicist Sandy Friedman said Tuesday.
