A Pikes Peak tradition

In 1922, on Dec. 30 and 31, a group of five men climbed Pikes Peak up the cograilway route. At the summit, they set off fireworks at midnight to welcomethe new year. Thus began the AdAmAn Club, so named because every year,they added a new man. The tradition continues today.
