Negotiate the price of the fare before embarking on your adventure. Also, a driver will wait to return you to your hotel. Prices are reasonable.
Best deals: Haggling is fun. Do not buy the first thing you see. If you have the time, shop around for the best deals.
Best time to go: October through January; the weather is great that time of year. Swimsuits during the day and jackets early mornings and evenings. It is less crowded then.
Best travel tip: Cairo is a busy place. Do not forget to go to the Egyptian Museum there. The pyramids of Giza and Sphinx are must-sees.
