The Dakota Wizards lead the NBA Development League’s Eastern Division after edging the visiting Colorado 14ers for the second straight game, 108-106 on Sunday at the Bismarck Civic Center in Bismarck, N.D.
Entering the weekend, the 14ers (7-5) were atop the league’s Western Division, but with the two losses in North Dakota, they now trail the Los Angeles D-Fenders (9-6).
Renaldo Major led all scorers with 26 points for Dakota, which defeated Colorado on Friday in Bismarck, 124-112.
The 14ers were led by Rick Rickert’s 20 points. Von Wafer added 19 for Colorado, Elton Brown scored 17 and Bakari Hendrix hit 12.
Julius Hodge, on an NBADL assignment from the Nuggets, finished with eight points and a game-high 10 assists.
