I’m mangling the old saying here but it’s best to let sleeping loves lie. In other words, this isn’t a week for romance to be your best pal. It’s not that you won’t meet interesting and interested partners; in fact, that could be the problem. The energy of romance is one of possible deception, with the work involved in revealing the truth being more trouble than it’s worth.
Should you get involved with one of the bright and shiny types you meet, be careful. If you do get into a bout of the old bug and tussle, make sure you use your head and play carefully. It’s also vital that you don’t get emotionally involved at this time. A current relationship may be carefully nursed to a healthier place.

Taurus, April 20 to May 20
This week may be the bucking bronco of love. You’ll have the opportunity to ride the wild energy of romance as long as you know how to hold on tightly. Be open to almost anything (I said almost) and you could be in for quite a time. Socializing is advised but don’t lose control of yourself, especially in an environment that calls for sanity.
The thrill of lassoing that bronc will be as much fun as the experience that follows. Be a flirt but don’t do so with anyone you’ll regret being hitched to later. This can be a fun week as long as you stay focused and relaxed.

Determination in love will bring definite results. This is a good time to put your energy into defining what romance means to you and if that definition will serve you in this New Year. If you find flaws, work to remove them. This will take time and energy and that’s where the determination comes in.
It’ll also come in handy when meeting and connecting with possible love prospects. Be determined not to be taken advantage of and you’ll find that a sense of connection is possible. If you’ve had someone on your radar lately, make your mind up as to whether or not to pursue him or her. If you still want to play, do so.

You should find that your best efforts are going to be well received. This means giving love and romantic endeavors your best efforts, right? If you want to find a good lover, be willing to give it your all and to recognize when someone is doing the same for you. The possibility of making an innocent comment that sinks you deeper in quicksand by the moment is a real possibility. Think before you take a stand on an issue that may not need to be stood upon. Love can be there, just keep it quiet.

This is your week for fun and games. Get out there, providing you’re dug out of the snow, and find someone to play with. The thermostat is being turned up on your love life and you could start your own thaw before the week is over. Don’t be prudish when it comes to romance and you may be able to transform this week into your own love-in. (This last term dates me. For those of you too young to remember love-ins, it’s a Hippie thing.) The emphasis will be on having a good time and not letting the baggage of the past get in the way of what you want.
The person, or persons (Once again, Hippies) involved will be of a similar mind to you and there may be an opportunity for a long-term connection arising as time goes on. Don’t push this aspect too soon or they’ll scamper away like Freaks into the park with the Fuzz closing in. (I wax sentimental from time to time.)

This will be a busy week if you put your energies into the world of love and romance. If you’ve had a slow spell lately, get ready for things to speed up. This is a great week for getting out there and finding other people to play with. If you meet someone in particular who makes your heart go pitter-pat, stick with him or her. You’ll find that focusing on one person is the best bet.
