The Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League won their fifth consecutive home game, downing the Bakersfield Jam 109-103 on Sunday at the Broomfield Event Center behind Elton Brown’s 28 points and 12 rebounds. It was his eighth double-double of the season.
Brown had a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds in the 14ers’ 129-118 win over Bakersfield on Saturday.
Rick Rickert added 16 points for Colorado (10-5), which leads the Western Division, two games ahead of the Los Angeles D-Fenders (9-8).
The 14ers also got 14 points from Pooh Jeter and 13 from Von Wafer. Gerry McNamara scored a game-high 29 points to lead Bakersfield (5-11).
