The best thing on my training table: Buffalo wings.

Pregame ritual: I’m always last out of the locker room to say my prayer.

Time management tip: Academics come first, but get what needs to be done first, then make time for other things.

My family: Parents Kathy Jones and Glen Thompson; brothers Matt, Mark and Mike Jones.

What I like most about high school sports: The memories you get from them both on and off the court.

What I like least about high school sports: I wish the season could go longer.

Preps

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
