Many people know Jeff Currier as the serious face of the U.S. Fly Fishing Team, the only American to earn a medal in international competition.
But the program the Idaho resident will present Jan. 23 to the Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be strictly for grins.
With his wife Yvonne, Currier last year traveled by bus, boat and hitchhiking to five African countries in quest of tiger fish, a species noted for its combativeness and, of course, lots of teeth.
Currier, who also will appear at the Jan. 25-28 International Sportsmen’s Expo, will deliver his 6:30 p.m. presentation at the South Metro Realtor Association Building, South Broadway at Mineral Avenue. A donation of $3 is requested; phone 303-220-5450.
