Eastbound Colfax Avenue is closed at Welton Street near the Colorado Convention Center because of a water-main break.
Drivers are being detoured off of Colfax Avenue onto Welton Street, then to 13th Street and back to eastbound Colfax, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
Eastbound Colfax is expected to be closed through this evening’s rush hour, Jackson said. Westbound Colfax remains open.
