Cheney, Wash. – Rodney Stuckey scored 31 points and powered a second-half run that carried Eastern Washington to a 91-79 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday night.
Stuckey had seven points and two assists during a 13-3 surge that saw the Eagles (10-10, 4-4 Big Sky) turn a 59-57 deficit into a 70-62 lead with 6:25 left against the Bears (3-17, 1-7).
The loss was UNC’s 30th straight on the road, including 11 this season.
Sean Taibi and Kirk Archibeque led the Bears with 21 points apiece. Dwayne Birden added 15 for UNC.
RMAC
Chadron State (3-12, 2-7) erased a 35-24 halftime deficit to earn a 77-67 victory over Regis (6-10, 1-8) in Nebraska. Kody Christensen scored 24 points to lead Chadron State.
Nebraska-Kearney grabbed a fast lead against visiting Colorado-Colorado Springs and never looked back on its way to an 85-54 rout. The Lopers (13-3, 8-1) picked up 22 points on 21 turnovers by UCCS (12-4, 6-3). Dusty Jura’s 22 points and 11 rebounds led the Lopers. Bryan Snyder’s 12 points led the Mountain Lions.
Colorado Christian’s Brian Stamer had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds and the Cougars (6-9, 3-6) cruised a 67-51 win over visiting Colorado Mines (8-8, 3-6).
Women
Hanna Zavecz scored 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds Saturday, leading Wyoming to a 66-51 win over Texas Christian in Laramie.
Zavecz hit a 3-pointer with 13:23 left to put the Cowgirls (12-5, 3-2 Mountain West Conference) ahead 40-38.
Wyoming kept out of reach when TCU (13-6, 3-2) went four minutes without scoring.
Dominique Sisk added 18 points for Wyoming. TCU was led by Ashley Davis’ 13 points and Adrianne Ross’ 11.
SAN DIEGO STATE 75, CSU 66 at San Diego: Kate Eveland’s career-high 18 points led five Aztecs in double figures as San Diego State defeated Colorado State in an MWC game at Cox Arena. Shannon Clay had 12 points and 12 rebounds for San Diego State (9-7, 2-3 MWC). Ashley McFarland (24 points) and Marilyn Moulton (18) had career-high scoring games for CSU (6-12, 1-5).
UTAH 80, AIR FORCE 59 at Salt Lake City: Kalee Whipple and Marie Warner combined for 41 points off the bench, leading Utah to an easy win over Air Force in an MWC game at the Huntsman Center.
Whipple scored a career-high 24 points and Warner contributed 17.
Utah (13-6, 6-0) shot 30-of-33 from the free-throw line. Air Force (4-13, 0-6) was led by Alecia Steele’s 14 points and 10 rebounds.
DENVER 54, SOUTH ALABAMA 34 at Denver: DU held South Alabama to a season-low offensive output as the Pioneers won the Sun Belt Conference game at Magness Arena.
The Pioneers (11-7, 6-3) held South Alabama (9-10, 3-6) to 26.3 percent shooting from the field. Behind Sara Bents’ career-high 11 rebounds, the Pioneers earned a 41-35 rebounding edge.
Alisha Godette scored a game-high 12 points in just 11 minutes of play for DU. Sara Benham added 10 points.
N. COLORADO 78, E. WASHINGTON 54 at Greeley: Behind Heather Barbour’s game-high 17 points, Northern Colorado earned its first Big Sky win, routing Eastern Washington.
The Bears (4-14, 1-5) forced Eastern Washington (6-13, 1-5) into 16 turnovers and 20.8 percent shooting from the field. Four UNC players scored in double figures, led by Nicole Ford’s 16 points. Ford also grabbed 11 rebounds.

Regis (13-4, 8-1) hit 16 3-pointers in the first half and Diana Lopez’s 20 points led six players in double figures as the Rangers rolled to a 107-47 rout of Chadron State (0-15, 0-8).
Nebraska-Kearney (12-4, 7-2) got 15 points apiece from Amy Mathis, Liz Fischer and Jonni Mildenberger, cruising to a 76-61 win over visiting Colorado-Colorado Springs (6-10, 6-3).
Iva Tomova scored 15 points, helping lift Colorado Mines (9-8, 6-3) over Colorado Christian (5-12, 1-8) 71-42.
